1998 – Awarded State Program of the Year: Health & Life Skills
2001 – LaKeshia Fowler named State Youth of the Year
2002 – Tia Foster-Herbin named State Youth of the Year. Hosted the State competition.
2004 – To date BGCCG has awarded 20 Presidential Freedom Scholarships to deserving seniors. This is in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Corporation for National Service.
2004 – Awarded#1 teen leadership program by BGCA Southeast Region
2004 – Awarded State Program of the Year: Health & Life Skills
2004 – Awarded 3rd place in two categories of teen leadership by BGCA at National Keystone Conference.
2004 – Received Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s highest state honor award for program extension. This was due to partnerships built with other agencies to deliver health & life skills programs such ast Passport to Manhood and Smart Moves.
2004 - Received Georgia HIV/AIDS Community Service Award for our prevention work in promoting healthy life-styles among at-risk youth.
2005 – Roderick Cox named State Youth of the Year
2005 – Club member awarded 1st place in BGCA’s National Fine Arts competition (pastels).
2006 – BGCA Centennial (national)
2009 – Awarded two State Program of the Year: Health & Life Skills and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
2010 – Awarded two State Program of the Year: Character & Leadership and Education & Career.
2011 – Received Maytag Dependable Club Award. One of seven Clubs recognized in the inaugural year of the award.
2011 – Paula Harvey Parent Award established by Regional Council Member, Russ Vaughn, and his wife, Mary Bell Vaughn.
2011 – Received Award of Respect from Big O Foundation (Otis Redding)
